Private Throwing Tuition

We are currently offering private throwing classes to beginner and intermediate students.

If you have not been on a potters wheel before then the beginners class is for you. In this session we will introduce you to the process by showing and directing you on how to make a basic form.

If you're a little more confident then the intermediate classes are where we can explore more varied forms, for example a custom designed mug, jug, bowl etc.

Make a Candlestick.

In this session I invite people of all skill levels to create their own unique candlestick design.  Guided tuition is available throughout the whole process if needed. I will produce the initial form without a design and the participants will then shape to their own specification.

Each participant will use varying amounts of clay, 500 grams (the weight of an average candlestick) is included in the price.

We are sorry that currently wheelchair users, and others with mobility issues, may not be able to book for our regular slots.
